Seeking caring individuals to help our rescued dogs and cats.

 Pets rescued from the shelter are isolated until confirmed healthy. If a foster home cannot be located, these rescued pets are boarded at a veterinary office, which is difficult to obtain and costs hundreds of dollars per week, and  is our greatest financial and logistical burden.

I understand that this is a foster agreement only and fostering this pet does not guarantee I will be allowed to adopt this pet if I so desire at a later date.

i will not allow any other persons, unless pecified in advance, to care for this pet - including dog walking, pet sitting.. I will only walk pet on the collar and leash provided by ZFFA and pet will wear ID tag on collar at all times.

I agree not to leave the foster animal unattended (tied to pole outside store, in yard, or with friends) at any time when not at our home, or to dog parks/beaches , without specific advance permission from ZFFA..

I agree to allow ZFFA into my home to perform inspections to ensure the animal(s) I am fostering are being kept up to their requirements. If for any reason and at any time ZFFA does not feel the environment is proper for the foster animal, I will immediately relinquish pet back to them. I agree to pay for any and all legal expenses if ZFFA chooses to pursue legal action to repossess foster pet.

If I choose to purchase any other itmes, the cost of such items will not be reimbursed by ZFFA,unless specifically stated in advance by ZFFA. *I acknowledge that ZFFA has recommended that foster animals be kept separate from my own pets and that there is a risk of infecting my pets/family members with known or unknown diseases even if they are separated. In consideration for placing the animal with me, I agcee to,indemnify and hold ZFFA harmless for any and all damage or injuries caused by an animal, directly or indirectly, to myself, household members or visitors, or my belonging or property while performing any and all duties as a foster care program volunteer.
